in preparing detailed drawings and designs for HVAC systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and able to translate design concepts into accurate and clear technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed HVAC drawings, layouts, and schematics as per project requirements.
Draft ducting, piping, and equipment layouts using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with Engineers and Project Managers to understand design intent and ensure accuracy.
Update and revise drawings based on design changes and site conditions.
Maintain drawing records and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in preparing BOQs, load calculations, and shop drawings (if required).
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum
1 year of experience
as an HVAC Draftsman.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
Basic understanding of HVAC systems such as ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation, and equipment layout.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Additional Preferences:
Experience working on HVAC projects in commercial or industrial sectors.
Knowledge of local standards and installation practices.
