Job Description

Design and develop HVAC systems for high-rise buildings, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.

Perform heat load calculations, duct sizing, and pipe routing using industry-standard software (HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

Prepare detailed design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for projects.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to optimize HVAC layouts.

Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and other international HVAC standards.

Select HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, etc.) based on project requirements.

Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Assist in preparing tender documents, technical proposals, and cost estimations.

Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system-related design and implementation challenges.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, energy-efficient technologies, and sustainable practices.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 6+ years of UAE experience in HVAC design for high-rise buildings.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier E20, etc.).

Strong understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local UAE codes.

Experience in designing chilled water systems, VRF systems, and ventilation strategies.
