:
The successful applicant will be responsible for designing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using
advanced CAD tools, performing engineering calculations, and ensuring products meet performance, quality, and safety
standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate and detailed shop drawings and schematic drawing using AutoCAD based on the project
requirements.
Ensure that all mechanical designs comply with applicable regulatory and safety standards.
Organize the review and evaluate the work of consultants and others.
Identify potential issues in design, provide solutions, and manage multiple projects effectively to ensure timely
delivery.
Deliver clear and effective oral presentations as required to convey project status, proposals, and designs.
Develop accurate and detailed HVAC/schematic drawings based on architectural floor plan using AutoCAD based
program.
Work Experience and Knowledge:
1+ years of experience working for a mechanical design firm with:
Minimum 1 years of experience in mechanical design or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) and AutoCAD.
Ability to take directions from a project manager.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. Unafraid to
ask questions. Willing to help support, train, and coordinate your efforts with both your team and the Project
Manager.
Ability to draw, backcheck and be observant to create high quality construction documents to
company standards.
Skills:
Fluent in the English language with excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work independently on projects and coordinate with other team members.
Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of design of schematic drawing.
Experience in reading mechanical engineering drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Working experience with Revit or other BIM tools.
Work Schedule:
40+ hour work week typically Monday through Friday [11am to 8pm]
Occasional evening, early morning and weekend work is required
