Overview:

We are hiring a fresher HVAC Design & Costing Engineer to support our engineering team. The role involves assisting in HVAC system design, AutoCAD drafting, and basic cost estimation. Ideal for recent mechanical engineering graduates with knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare HVAC system designs using AutoCAD or design software based on project requirements. Conduct heat load calculations and equipment selection as per industry standards. Estimate project costs including materials, labor, and equipment for HVAC installations. Create BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical proposals for client submissions. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for design approvals. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and energy efficiency guidelines. Review tender documents and prepare competitive costing and technical bids. Evaluate vendor quotations and assist in procurement-related decisions. Provide technical support during project execution and address design-related issues. Maintain proper documentation of design revisions, costing sheets, and client communications.

Qualifications & Skills: Required Skills:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Completed HVAC Design & Drafting course from a recognized institute (preferred). Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and functions. Familiar with AutoCAD software; certification or training is a plus. Understanding of heat load calculations and duct sizing concepts. Eagerness to learn costing, estimation, and BOQ preparation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Proficient in MS Excel and basic report/document handling. Awareness of ASHRAE standards or willingness to learn. Positive attitude, professional behavior, and strong willingness to grow in HVAC design.
