Job Description

The HVAC Coil Fin Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining coil fin press machines used in the manufacturing of HVAC heat exchanger coils. The role ensures accurate fin dimensions, quality output, production efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate

coil fin press / fin punching machine

(manual / semi-automatic / automatic) Set and adjust

fin pitch, height, width, and thickness

as per drawings Load aluminum or copper fin material correctly Ensure production as per

job card, drawing, and production plan

Inspect fins for

quality, alignment, burrs, and damages

Maintain

daily production & rejection records

Perform

basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments

Coordinate with

coil assembly and brazing teams

Follow

safety SOPs and PPE usage

Maintain

5S and housekeeping

in work area Report machine breakdowns immediately to maintenance

Machine & Technical Knowledge

Coil Fin Press / Fin Punching Machine Aluminum & Copper Fin Processing Basic mechanical troubleshooting Use of measuring tools (vernier caliper, gauges, scale) Reading basic HVAC coil drawings

Qualification

ITI (Fitter / Machinist / Mechanical) preferred Minimum

1-5 years experience

in HVAC coil or heat exchanger manufacturing

Skills Required

Machine operation & setting Quality awareness Attention to detail Ability to work in shifts Team coordination

Safety & Compliance

Follow

factory safety rules

Mandatory use of

gloves, goggles, ear protection

Adhere to company SOPs and quality standards
