Region APC Construction & Operations APAC APAC Offshore Commissioning Develop, implement and maintain a robust commissioning framework across people functions, to deliver and continuously improve the quality and cost effectiveness of services. Provide commissioning expertise and coordinates commissioning resources for the development of commissioning related deliverables, including participation in constructability, operability activities and engineering design reviews. Responsibilities Ensure compliancy with and managing of Electrical Safety Rules Safety coordination in electrical matters Act as senior authorized person Outage management and network control in collaboration with the Control Engineers Update MV/HV/LV schematic diagrams Inspect work site and perform site safety inspections and auditing for electrical matters Coordinate with the Lead Commissioning Supervisor and Offshore Commissioning Manager to ensure that accurate updates are distributed to the Project Management Manage and coordinate HV/MV/LV commissioning activities Prepare and check high voltage switching schedules Check method statements for electrical matters Provide technical and engineering advice to working parties for electrical matters Assist different departments when required Lead Site acceptance tests (SAT) prior to COD (Commercial Operation Date). Input to the project commissioning management manual and related documents (including pre-commissioning and commissioning quality plans) Reports SAT on the different high voltage equipment\'s Onsite check of switching programs Carry out high voltage switching and isolations Carry out earthing of high voltage plant and apparatus Prepare, issue and cancel safety documents Inspect, test and commission high voltage plant VLF testing (very low frequency tests) of high voltage cables to verify cables insulation Identify and fit circuit designation labels and switch numbers Prepare and check high voltage switching schedules Fault management. Participate in an out-of hours emergency response rota Participation in the planning of resource and work activities Participation in authorizations and assessments of new candidates Supervise the commissioning and start-up of the High Voltage & Low Voltage (HV/LV) Network in a safe and controlled manner, including providing safety from the HV/LV Network for working parties under your control Controlling and switching the HV/LV network Writing, approving and following-up/controlling switching schedules for the HV/LV network Scrutiny of handover documentation for detail and suitability Liaison with the Control Engineer Planning, coordination and supervision of sub-contracted personnel The primary function of a senior authorised person is to maintain the safety of persons working on or near a high-voltage electrical network Approve energization Ensure compliance with the project HSE rules and local legislation Oversee HV electrical installations to turbines. Inspect interface Vestas\' HV transformer to client\'s grid (offshore substations and submarine cables). Oversee safe construction of grid connections associated HV plant and equipment. Contribute to consistent management, good coordination and communication between all parties and that the process works effectively Check work permits Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in electrical or Electro Technical Officer (ETO - STCW III/6) Minimum 5 years Engineering experience or other related field on offshore industry including a minimum 3 years of experience in power electrical system. Proficiency in English (fluent - speaking and writing) Appropriate electrical qualification and background related to the authorization scope. 5 years of operation and commissioning experience within the field of high voltage electricity, offshore experience possible Complete and up to date GWO Minimum 1 year of working experience within onshore substations systems Minimum 6 months of working experience within offshore substations systems Minimum 1 year of working experience within wind turbines Competencies Teamwork Focused safety approach Organization Planning Time management Reporting skills Dependability / trustworthy / reliable Attention to detail Positive Positive attitude Understanding Hands-on leadership What We Offer Vestas provides an open, respectful global culture, an attractive compensation package, and long-term career development.
