Job Description

We are seeking a creative and passionate individual to join our team as Humanities facilitator. The desired candidate should preferably be a Post graduate, hardworking and energetic with 5 years of work experience. He/she should also possess enormous interest, understanding and passion about the subject.

The position will involve teaching and creating interest about history and social studies, for the students of middle and senior school. The candidate should be a motivated and result oriented individual with a keen interest in World History and Geography.

Responsibilities and Duties

To encourage research in Humanities to learners as a group from Middle School onward.

To show interest in researching, understanding, analysing different versions of history, geography, historical events, social movements, etc.

To be highly committed, disciplined, and focused on result and children's progress.

To review and coordinate all the humanities projects and take students for extensive field trips, heritage walks, etc.

To encourage all students to be actively engaged in self-learning and review their progress on a weekly basis.

To check that the subject matter is effectively communicated and understood by all groups of learners.

To keep records of learner's progress in line with our curriculum framework.

To encourage collaborative teamwork in the learning space, teaching students to communicate effectively and thoughtfully, justify their reasoning and to consider multiple perspectives while solving problems.

Write blogs, articles about the projects, children's work and also about historical events, and social movements.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Master's Degree in History or related field, a teaching certificate or credentials.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with team members.

Excellent reading comprehension of long history books, events and materials.

Excellent writing skills (Narrative writing, Persuasive writing, etc.).

Pay: ₹12,398.49 - ₹31,988.22 per month
