The HR Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive organizational culture and handling all aspects of HR, from recruitment and talent development to employee relations and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the event management and branding sector.
Coordinate the full recruitment cycle from job posting to final interviews, onboarding, and orientation.
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and design tailored job descriptions.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Act as the point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances, promoting a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Organize and facilitate employee engagement activities, team-building events, and regular feedback sessions to ensure a positive workplace culture.
Address and resolve conflicts between employees to maintain a harmonious work atmosphere.
Training & Development:
Identify skill gaps and create training programs to ensure the continuous professional growth of employees.
Promote and manage employee development opportunities such as workshops, courses, and certifications that align with the agency's objectives.
Implement performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff to enhance their career growth.
Compensation & Benefits:
Ensure competitive compensation structures and benefits packages are aligned with industry standards.
Handle payroll processing, employee benefits administration (insurance, paid leave, etc.), and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws.
Regularly analyze and update compensation policies to retain and motivate employees.
Compliance & Legal Requirements:
Oversee and ensure the agency complies with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation (contracts, performance reviews, etc.).
Assist in the development of company policies and ensure they are communicated effectively to all employees.
Health & Wellness:
Promote a healthy work-life balance through wellness programs, mental health initiatives, and stress management workshops.
Ensure a safe working environment by addressing any safety concerns and maintaining necessary health and safety protocols.
General Administration:
Maintain HR metrics and report on staffing, turnover, training, and performance trends to senior leadership.
Handle day-to-day HR operations including attendance tracking, leave management, and employee queries.
Support the leadership team in implementing strategic HR goals and objectives.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with 1+ years in an HR management role, preferably in the event management, creative, or branding industry.
Proven experience with talent management, employee relations, and HR compliance.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
High emotional intelligence and a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employment policies.
Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
Proficiency in HR software, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
