Job Summary:
The Human Resources (HR) professional is responsible for overseeing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and development, and administrative support to ensure a productive and legally compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Develop and post job advertisements.
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
Coordinate interview scheduling with department heads.
Issue offer letters, conduct background checks, and manage onboarding formalities.
2. Employee Records & Administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRMS.
Process employee documentation such as letters, ID cards, and contracts.
Manage attendance, leave records, and payroll coordination.
3. Compliance & Legal
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Maintain records required by regulatory bodies (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
Assist in audits and inspections.
4. Employee Engagement & Relations
Address employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
Organize employee engagement activities and feedback sessions.
Foster a positive workplace culture.
5. Performance Management
Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems.
Coordinate goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations.
Support managers in addressing performance issues.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.
Schedule internal/external training programs.
Track employee development progress.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
[1-5+] years of relevant experience depending on the level.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Attributes:
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.

Fluency in local language(s) and English
