HR Manager

to foster a productive, inclusive, and safe work environment as we continue to grow our production capacity and team.

Role Overview

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. For Impression Furniture, this means balancing the administrative needs of a corporate office with the unique labor and safety requirements of a manufacturing facility. You will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues, ranging from recruitment and payroll to health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

Manage the full recruitment cycle, specializing in sourcing skilled tradespeople as well as design and administrative staff.

Employee Relations:

Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. Foster a positive culture that reflects the "Impression" brand.

Performance Management:

Implement and oversee appraisal systems that drive high performance and reward craftsmanship.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure the facility meets all OSHA and local labor law requirements. Partner with floor supervisors to maintain a rigorous safety training program.

Compensation & Benefits:

Administer payroll, manage benefit programs, and conduct periodic salary surveys to ensure we remain competitive in the manufacturing sector.

Training & Development:

Identify training needs for both the factory floor and the office to encourage internal promotion and skill-building.
Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

5+ years of experience in HR, preferably within a

manufacturing or industrial environment

.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM or PHR certification is a strong plus.

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.

Tech Savvy:

Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll software.
