The Human Resources Manager, India plays a vital role in setting up our Indian entity and next, in building up highly effective and engaged ongoing experience of our future employees. The HR Manager serves as a partner to the Indian business leaders, managers, and employees on a variety of HR services and programs. As a key member of the HR Team in EMEIA, this individual plays a pivotal role in the formulation and execution of all HR policies, processes, systems, and initiatives including legal compliances as per labour law in India. Finally, being a strategic business partner to the local leadership, HR Manager provides guidelines and advice on execution of the talent, engagement, and ER strategies, swiftly managing complexities in a rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Creates as required and maintains knowledge of local HR policies, working rules, programs, and issues, applying this knowledge to ensure compliance with local regulations and consistency with global HR Strategy and Jamf culture
  • Works in conjunction with the global HR team to provide local and regional coordination of day-to-day HR support
  • Conducts local orientation for all new employees including completion of proper paperwork necessary to enroll employee in benefits and payroll
  • Coordinates with the global Human Resources team to effectively deliver and assist with recruitment and compensation functions in India
  • Coaches leaders and employees, supporting them on growth and development
  • Works with local leaders to scope and execute people projects that grow engagement and accelerate performance, partnering with internal functional HR experts along the way
  • Drives key talent processes with leaders including performance management, talent review and succession planning
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Consults with leaders to help them navigate through employee issues so they understand the different risks and benefits of different scenarios to make the best decision possible for the organization.
  • Provides cultural considerations and contributes new and creative ideas for attracting the best talent to Jamf in India
  • Serves as local contact person for all related external parties such as payroll provider, tax office, health insurance, pension provider
  • Performs various administrative duties with respect to (social) insurance and legislative requirements
  • Administers local employee absence process and leaves
  • Maintains all employee personnel, immigration, benefits and other filing systems in compliance with governmental requirements
Skills & Requirements
  • 5 + Years progressive relevant business experience as a Human Resources Business Partner/Manager in a global setting (required)
  • 3 + Years experience as a servant leader, with the ability to collaborate, build rapport, confidence and trust among employees
  • Good practical knowledge of Indian labour laws, people strategies and best HR practices for Total rewards, Talent Development and building great Employee Experience
  • High project management/organizational skills with strong attention to detail, people, systems and processes
  • Experience with complex employee relations, workplace investigations (preferred) and current in employment laws and requirements in order to ensure legal compliance (required)
  • Business proficiency in English (required)
  • Relevant business experience with different cultures and high cultural awareness.
