Urgent Hiring in Media and Entertainment
*Position: HR Manager*
Location: Cochin
Experience: 5-8 years (preferably in Media / Digital marketing / Creative industry)
Salary: 45,000 - 50000(Based on experience)
*Job Summary:*
The HR Manager will oversee all HR functions across creative, production, and corporate teams within the media and entertainment setup. This role involves handling recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and HR compliance while fostering a creative and collaborative work culture aligned with organizational goals.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for creative, production, and support roles.

• Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and job requirements.

• Build and maintain a talent pool of actors, editors, designers, and production staff.

2. Onboarding & Employee Engagement

• Conduct smooth onboarding and induction for new hires.

• Plan and execute employee engagement activities, cultural events, and creative recognition programs.

• Ensure a positive work environment that supports creativity and collaboration.

3. Performance Management

• Implement performance appraisal systems and KPI frameworks suitable for creative teams.

• Conduct regular feedback sessions, performance reviews, and learning plans.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

• Maintain HR policies, employee records, and attendance systems.

• Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

• Prepare HR-related MIS reports and dashboards for management.

5. Learning & Development

• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for employees and creative teams.

• Encourage upskilling in areas like media technology, storytelling, and digital content creation.

6. HR Strategy & Culture Building

• Drive HR initiatives that align with the company's brand and creative identity.

• Support leadership in succession planning and talent retention strategies.

• Promote diversity, inclusion, and creative freedom within teams.
