The Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager supports the Head of HR in implementing and overseeing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective people management across the organization. This role involves handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and training programs. In addition, the candidate must have payroll processing experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing daily HR operations while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
Provide full spectrum of HR operations support including but not limiting to manpower planning, the entire recruitment and off-boarding cycle, staff disciplinary, performance, talent, and staff engagement including payroll.
Oversee and manage the recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Handling the end-to-end monthly payroll processing with external vendor for disbursement and reporting to Finance team. Familiar with CPF regulations as well as tax submissions.
Provide monthly updates to Finance team including leave provision.
Manage the work pass quota and work pass applications including WP/SP/EP as well as Visa applications as and when necessary for visitors.
Work with HR team from different office within Middle East and Asia.
Support the annual performance management process, including create template for each department for goal setting, feedback, and evaluations.
Address employee inquiries and resolve issues related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
Maintain employee records and HR databases in compliance with data protection regulations.
Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Prepare monthly HR reports and support audits as needed.
Foster a positive organizational culture through engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or supervisory role.
Hands-on experience on payroll processing is a MUST.
Strong knowledge of labour laws, CPF, Tax and HR practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
