The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for implementing and supporting a variety of HR functions across the Foundation. This includes managing recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee relations, overseeing attendance and payroll processes, supporting training and development, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
The role requires a proactive, organised, and empathetic individual who can balance administrative precision with a people-centric approach. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture aligned with the Foundation's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding for employees and work on monthly
magazine.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee and volunteer records in compliance with data protection standards.
Oversee attendance, leave, and payroll coordination in collaboration with the accounts and finance team.
Support employee engagement initiatives, welfare programmes, and recognition activities.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and professional manner.
Coordinate training and development programmes to support staff performance and growth.
Prepare HR reports, documentation, and data analytics for management review.
Support the performance appraisal process and encourage a culture of continuous feedback.
Contribute to strengthening HR systems and organisational development practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a non-profit or social sector organisation.
Strong understanding of HR processes, statutory compliance, and employment law.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
