Autism Center of Excellence is a Premier Autism Therapy Center located in Durham, North Carolina, USA. We offer ABA Therapy to children from 2 years to 16 years of age in a child-centered family-oriented environment.

We are looking for a dynamic HR Coordinator who is energized by night-shift work and excited to play a key role in scaling our India operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading with ownership, and is ready to manage the full HR function independently.

Key Responsibilities (Night Shift Role)

Lead the complete employee lifecycle -- hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and seamless offboarding. Develop and refine HR policies and SOPs aligned with Indian labor laws while supporting a people-first work culture. Prepare and manage essential HR documentation including offer letters, contracts, compliance paperwork, and employee files. Coordinate payroll inputs, statutory processes (PF, ESIC, compliance filings), and work closely with finance and external consultants. Maintain accurate HR data, track key metrics, and ensure audit-ready records. Collaborate closely with leadership to support organizational development and workforce planning. Manage HR tools and systems to keep employee data structured and up-to-date. Act as a trusted HR representative -- addressing employee concerns promptly and helping maintain a positive, inclusive environment.

Required Qualifications

Must be willing and able to work Night Shift (US timings).

2-3 years of HR experience, with minimum 2 years in a senior or independently handled role. Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, payroll processes, and statutory compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience supporting remote or distributed teams. Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with HRMS systems (Zoho People, Keka, Darwinbox, etc.). Experience working in startups or rapidly scaling organizations. Familiarity with AI tools or HR workflow automations (Zoho Recruit, ChatGPT, Notion, etc.).
