Job Description


The Human Resources Business Partner will support the provision of an effective, comprehensive and customer focuses Human Resources (HR) service to all departments and provide expert advice to managers and employees, in line with Company policies, programs and values Essential Functions: Supports the development of human resources strategies including policy review and amendments in line with employment legislation, Company policy and best practice. Works with management teams regionally and at times across the Company in developing appropriate and effective HR solutions. Drafts necessary documents and forms to support policies and procedures. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Participates in global synchronization and streamlining. Provides advice and guidance to managers on performance and absence issues and, where appropriate, attends performance and absence meetings. Creates and facilitates relevant training programs. In some instances, acts as the liaison between HR and Payroll. Maintains HRIS system and update as necessary in a timely manner. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries. As allowed by law, conducts background and reference checks per company (and at times client) requirements. Creates and maintains job descriptions for all permanent full-time and part time roles. Ensures onboarding schedules are complete. Coordinates internal offboarding and conducts exit interview. Conducts workplace investigations and follow-up on employee concerns. Works in partnership with all employees to resolve issues and disputes including employee relations cases such as disciplinary and grievance. Ensures that confidentiality and relevant data protection requirements are met at all times. Conducts, new employee orientations and other sessions as deemed appropriate in the area of employee relations. In some countries, coordinates requests sent to the HR Department inbox and signposting requests to relevant HR Department team members. Ensures compliance with local regulations by understanding and staying current with applicable regional laws. Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives. Fosters and maintains a positive and professional working relationship with all customers, including: management staff, contract staff, permanent hires and clients. Represent HR at Works Council meetings where appropriate. Other duties as assigned. Necessary Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook; and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ACT, VISIO desirable. Possess effective written and oral communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work with minimum supervision. Must be flexible and able to deal quickly and appropriately with individual situations as they arise. Excellent planning, prioritizing and organizational skills. Strong customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality. High level of confidentiality required; must be discreet and ethical. Ability to understand and analyze workforce information. Capable of resolving conflict in a constructive manner. Excellent at building relationships with all levels in the organization. Ability to work within a team in an open and professional manner. Ability to work to deadlines under pressure. Ability to coach managers and colleagues. There is limited travel expected for this role Educational Requirements: B.S./B.A. in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field required. Working knowledge of labor laws, leave laws, performance management, benefits, compensation, organizational planning and development and employee relations. Professional certification such as SHRM PHR or Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) desired. CIPD Level 5 desired Experience Requirements: 4 years previous Human Resources experience preferred. 2 years previous Human Resources experience required
