The candidate will be responsible for independently managing and leading the Human Resources function of the organisation. This role requires a professional who can balance strategic people initiatives with day-to-day HR operations in a growing education-sector organisation. The candidate will oversee end-to-end recruitment, employee enrichment and engagement, and HR administration, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture aligned with the organisation's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Drafting and posting job descriptions
Screening resumes and shortlisting candidates
Conducting initial interviews and coordinating further rounds
Reference checks and offer rollouts
Coordinate onboarding processes, including documentation, induction sessions, and orientation.
Ensure timely closure of open positions while maintaining quality hiring standards.
2. Employee Enrichment & Engagement
Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale, retention, and productivity.
Organise training and development programs
Plan internal workshops, learning sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Seek employee feedback via mechanisms and surveys
3. Administration & Operations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records including but not limited to personal files and employment contracts
Manage HR databases and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
Handle policy acknowledgements and employee communications
4. Policy Implementation & Compliance
Implement and administer HR policies, codes of conduct, and internal guidelines
Periodically review HR policies and suggest improvements aligned with organisational growth.
Serve as the single point of ownership for HR in a youth-led organisation.
Support leadership in building a strong employer brand within the education ecosystem.
Required & Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology or a related field.
Master's degree in HR or a relevant discipline. (Desired)
A maximum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in Education, training, or social sector organisations OR small to mid-sized organisations where HR responsibilities were handled independently.
Strong understanding of HR fundamentals and operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Problem-solving mindset with a people-centric approach
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership
