We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to organizational success. Duties
Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration of new hires.
Manage employee records accurately within HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, Oracle HCM, and Paychex.
Coordinate benefits administration activities, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits.
Contribute to performance management initiatives by assisting with employee evaluations and performance review documentation.
Support compliance efforts related to FMLA, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and labor law adherence.
Participate in change management projects and assist with organization design and workforce planning strategies.
Facilitate employee relations activities by addressing inquiries, managing conflict resolution processes, and supporting employee engagement programs.
Contribute to training & development initiatives by scheduling sessions and maintaining training records.
Collect data for HR analytics and prepare reports on HR metrics using tools like Salesforce or data collection platforms.
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, contract management, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits or legal compliance.
Experience
Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within HR departments.
Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, UltiPro, Kronos, Paylocity, or similar systems.
Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including OSHA standards and workers' compensation procedures.
Experience with talent acquisition tools like ATS systems (iCIMS, Taleo) and social media management for recruiting purposes.
Strong understanding of benefits administration processes and payroll systems such as Paychex or Dayforce.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Demonstrated ability in project management, data collection & analysis, conflict management, and organizational design.
Prior experience with training & development programs or employee engagement initiatives is a plus.
