We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in human resources practices and be proficient in data entry and management systems.
Duties
Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including FMLA and affirmative action planning.
Support the recruitment process by managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordinating interviews.
Maintain accurate employee records in HR databases such as Dayforce and Taleo.
Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Provide support in employee relations matters, addressing inquiries and assisting with conflict resolution.
Contribute to organization design initiatives by analyzing workforce data and assisting in strategic planning.
Perform data entry tasks to ensure timely updates to employee information and HR metrics.
Collaborate with HR team members on special projects related to human capital management.
Requirements
Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred.
Familiarity with FMLA regulations and affirmative action planning is a plus.
Proficiency in using ATS platforms such as Taleo or similar systems.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Knowledge of human capital management principles is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
