Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the hospital's strategic goals and healthcare industry standards.
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for clinical and administrative roles, ensuring timely hiring with a focus on quality, diversity, and compliance.
  • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives tailored to healthcare professionals, including recognition programs, wellness activities, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and development planning, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational KPIs.
  • Lead training and development programs to enhance workforce competencies, including onboarding, leadership development, and continuous professional growth.
  • Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, healthcare regulations, and internal HR policies; manage audits and compliance reporting.
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages, including shift differentials, incentives, and wellness benefits.
  • Drive organizational development initiatives, including change management, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development.
  • Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to track key metrics such as turnover, time-to-hire, engagement scores, and training ROI; provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and senior management on people-related issues, conflict resolution, and workforce planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, CIPD) is preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a healthcare or hospital environment.
  • Proven expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition & retention, and employee engagement within high-stakes, regulated industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance standards relevant to healthcare institutions (e.g., NABH, ISO 9001, government health regulations).
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, training & development, and organizational development frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms and data analytics tools; ability to generate and interpret HR reports for decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Experience in designing and implementing compensation & benefits strategies tailored to shift-based, multi-tiered healthcare workforces.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and experience leading transformation initiatives in complex organizational settings.
