Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the hospital's strategic goals and healthcare industry standards.
Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for clinical and administrative roles, ensuring timely hiring with a focus on quality, diversity, and compliance.
Design and execute employee engagement initiatives tailored to healthcare professionals, including recognition programs, wellness activities, and feedback mechanisms.
Oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and development planning, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational KPIs.
Lead training and development programs to enhance workforce competencies, including onboarding, leadership development, and continuous professional growth.
Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, healthcare regulations, and internal HR policies; manage audits and compliance reporting.
Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages, including shift differentials, incentives, and wellness benefits.
Drive organizational development initiatives, including change management, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development.
Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to track key metrics such as turnover, time-to-hire, engagement scores, and training ROI; provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and senior management on people-related issues, conflict resolution, and workforce planning.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, CIPD) is preferred.
7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a healthcare or hospital environment.
Proven expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition & retention, and employee engagement within high-stakes, regulated industries.
In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance standards relevant to healthcare institutions (e.g., NABH, ISO 9001, government health regulations).
Demonstrated experience in performance management, training & development, and organizational development frameworks.
Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms and data analytics tools; ability to generate and interpret HR reports for decision-making.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
Experience in designing and implementing compensation & benefits strategies tailored to shift-based, multi-tiered healthcare workforces.
Familiarity with change management processes and experience leading transformation initiatives in complex organizational settings.
