The HR Payroll Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement, compliance with statutory regulations, and maintaining employee payroll data. The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong knowledge of payroll systems and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
Maintain payroll data including attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with statutory laws such as PF, ESI, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and other applicable labor laws.
Prepare and file statutory returns (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.) within deadlines.
Generate salary slips, payroll reports, and MIS for management.
Handle employee queries related to salary, tax deductions, and other payroll matters.
Coordinate with Finance for payroll reconciliation and disbursement.
Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll data.
Support HR team in audits and compliance checks.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labor law compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software (e.g., SAP, Tally, ERP, HRMS tools).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with strict deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, HR, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in payroll management (fresher with internship experience can also apply).
Knowledge of income tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances is mandatory.
