We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Operations Executive/Specialist with 4-5 years of experience in managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle. The role will focus on supporting HR operations within the education or service industry, including onboarding, induction, employee data management, and payroll input coordination. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, organized, and capable of ensuring smooth HR operational workflows while maintaining compliance and delivering a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Management:
Manage the complete employee lifecycle - from offer release, onboarding, induction, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and physical files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Coordinate exit formalities, including final settlements, clearance, and exit interviews
Onboarding & Induction:
Facilitate smooth onboarding by coordinating documentation, background verification, and system access
Conduct and improve employee induction programs, ensuring new hires are well-informed about the organization, policies, and processes
Act as a key point of contact for new employees during their first 90 days
Payroll Input & Coordination:
Collect and validate monthly payroll inputs - attendance, leaves, LOPs, new joiners, exits, variable payouts, etc.
Liaise with the finance/payroll team to ensure timely and accurate salary processing
Maintain all necessary payroll documentation and support audits or compliance checks
HR Operations & Compliance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HRIS/employee database
Prepare HR MIS reports - headcount, attrition, joining, and separation trends
Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational policies (EPF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.)
Support HR audits and accreditation-related documentation (for education industry institutions)
Employee Support:
Respond to employee queries on HR policies, benefits, leave management, grievances and payroll
Assist in employee engagement activities, internal communications, and feedback collection
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
4-5 years of hands-on experience in HR operations, preferably in the education or service sector
Strong understanding of payroll inputs, HR processes, and statutory compliance
Proficiency in using HRIS systems and MS Excel
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management
