Job Title: HR Manager - Payroll & Compliances

Role Overview
The HR Manager - Payroll & Compliances will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing and statutory compliance for a workforce of 700+ employees across corporate, site, and operational locations. The role requires strong expertise in HRMS systems, payroll controls, and Indian labour compliances including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and UAN management. The individual must ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations while coordinating with internal teams and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for 700+ employees across multiple locations
  • Ensure accurate processing of salaries, wages, incentives, overtime and deductions
  • Validate attendance, leave, and shift data through HRMS and site inputs
  • Coordinate payroll cut-offs, approvals, and disbursements within timelines
  • Maintain payroll MIS, variance reports, and cost analysis
2. HRMS & Systems Management
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms (attendance, leave, payroll modules. Employee in sensys HRMS software will be and added advantage.
  • Ensure data accuracy, employee master maintenance, and system integrity
  • Coordinate HRMS implementation, upgrades, and vendor interactions
3. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
  • Manage compliance under Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESIC), Gratuity, and Professional Tax
  • Handle UAN generation, linking, and corrections for employees
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, challans, and reconciliations
  • Coordinate inspections, audits, and notices from statutory authorities
  • Stay updated on changes in labour laws and compliance requirements

4. Vendor & Consultant Coordination
  • Liaise with payroll vendors, compliance consultants, and auditors
Ensure vendor deliverables align with statutory and internal standards
  • Review and validate compliance reports shared by consultants
5. Employee Queries & Support
  • Address payroll-related queries and statutory benefit clarifications
  • Support employees on PF, ESIC, gratuity, and payroll concerns
  • Ensure transparent communication on salary structures and deductions
6. Audit, Controls & Documentation
  • Maintain statutory registers, payroll records, and compliance documentation
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll and compliances
  • Implement payroll controls, SOPs, and process improvements
  • Ensure confidentiality and data security of payroll information
