Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Manager to oversee end-to-end HR operations for our automobile division. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HR processes, industrial workforce management, compliance, and talent development, along with the ability to partner closely with leadership to drive people strategies that support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Lead hiring for all levels: technical, non-technical, sales, service, and support roles.
Manage recruitment channels, job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles.
2. HR Operations & Administration
Oversee attendance, shifts, overtime, and workforce scheduling.
Manage employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, documentation, confirmation, and exits.
Maintain and update HRIS and employee records.
3. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, variable components, and overtime calculations.
Ensure accurate processing of C&B and statutory deductions.
Collaborate with finance for timely salary release.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
Develop engagement programs to enhance morale and reduce attrition.
Conduct regular floor interactions across showroom, workshop, and back-office teams.
5. Performance Management
Implement KRA/KPI frameworks aligned with automobile industry standards.
Drive performance reviews, appraisals, and improvement plans.
Work with department heads to identify skill gaps and training needs.
6. Training & Development
Organize training for customer handling, technical skills, sales effectiveness, etc.
Collaborate with OEM training teams for mandatory skill development sessions.
7. Compliance & Statutory Management
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety norms, and industry regulations.
Manage audits, vendor compliance, PF/ESI submissions, and contract labor documentation.
Implement and monitor workplace policies and disciplinary procedures.
8. HR Strategy & Leadership Support
Support management in manpower planning and organizational restructuring.
Provide HR insights based on data and analytics.
Lead change management initiatives during business expansion.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
Proven experience in HR management within the automobile or manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of dealership operations (sales, service, workshop, inventory preferred).
Knowledge of HRIS, payroll software, and MS Excel/Google Sheets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage cross-functional teams.
Preferred Competencies:
Understanding of shop-floor/workshop HR dynamics.
Familiarity with shift management and blue-collar workforce handling.
Experience with OEM audits and compliance requirements.
Ability to design and implement structured HR processes.
