We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our dynamic HR team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee engagement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen interest in developing their career in HR.
Responsibilities
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job advertisements on various platforms, including social media and job boards.
Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Maintain and update employee records within our Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including Workday and PeopleSoft.
Conduct data entry tasks related to employee information and recruitment metrics.
Collaborate with the HR team to manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Taleo.
Help organise employee engagement activities and events to enhance workplace culture.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling interviews and managing correspondence with candidates.
Utilise Salesforce for tracking recruitment progress and maintaining candidate databases.
Experience
Previous experience or coursework in human resources or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday and PeopleSoft, is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effective interaction with candidates and team members.
Experience with data entry and administrative tasks will be beneficial for this role.
Knowledge of social media management strategies for recruitment purposes is a plus. This internship is designed to provide valuable exposure to the human resources field while allowing you to contribute meaningfully to our organisation's success.
