Administration: Maintaining employee records, administering payroll and benefits, and overseeing employee self-service capabilities
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax reporting and government regulations
Staff retention: Managing performance reviews, retaining workers, and succession planning
Onboarding: Preparing paperwork and schedules for new hires, coordinating with other departments, and handling administrative tasks for onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews
Employee relations: Providing HR advisory services to employees on issues such as absence, health, grievances, and organizational change
Policies and procedures: Improving, implementing, and administering HR policies and procedures
Recruitment: Assisting with recruitment, developing relationships with employment agencies, and creating an employer brand
Training: Planning and executing training sessions and team building exercises
Other: Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures, arranging services for employees, and assisting with salary negotiations and employment law issues
