- Human Resource (HR) Executive/Manager (School)Position Overview:
The HR in a school is responsible for managing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, staff welfare, compliance with educational regulations, and maintaining a positive work environment. The role ensures that the school has the right staff in place, and that policies are implemented fairly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing
Plan and execute recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff.
Coordinate with heads of departments for manpower requirements.
Draft job descriptions, post advertisements, and manage selection processes.
Conduct interviews along with academic heads/management.
Onboarding & Induction
Organize orientation and induction programs for new employees.
Prepare appointment letters, contracts, and maintain staff files.
Employee Records & Compliance
Maintain and update HR database, attendance, and leave records.
Ensure compliance with CBSE/ICSE/State Board/IB guidelines (as applicable).
Handle employee documentation in line with labour laws and school regulations.
Performance Management
Coordinate performance appraisal system.
Support heads of departments in staff evaluation.
Recommend training and development programs.
Employee Relations & Welfare
Address staff grievances and concerns.
Implement staff welfare initiatives and employee engagement activities.
Promote a positive and collaborative work culture.
Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development workshops.
Organize mandatory training sessions (child safety, POSH, etc.).
Payroll & Benefits Administration
Support payroll preparation with attendance and leave data.
Ensure timely submission of PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other benefits.
Policy & Compliance
Draft and implement HR policies in line with school's vision.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and education board guidelines.
Support audits and inspections.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws.
Experience in school/education sector (preferred).
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
Can manage with people & journey with equal ease.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in HR/Management (MBA HR preferred).
5-8 years of HR experience (school/education industry experience is an advantage).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
