CHEBEL PATISSERIE , JP NAGAR



Chebel is a cafe and patisserie located in JP Nagar, Bengaluru - known for its Italian-inspired pasta bar, signature coffees, and an indulgent range of artisanal desserts. On weekends, we serve an extensive breakfast menu that celebrates comfort and craft. Our patisserie specializes in custom bespoke cakes , entremets, celebration cakes for every occasion and a curated selection of fine desserts.

Experience Required:



Minimum of 2-4 years of HR experience (experience in hospitality, food service, or retail preferred)

Qualification:



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Roles & Responsibilities:



The Human Resources Manager / Generalist will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance, and policy development. This role will play a key part in supporting our management team and ensuring a productive, respectful, and legally compliant work environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesnRecruitment & Staffing



Manage full-cycle recruitment for all positions (bakery staff, front-of-house, management, and administrative roles) Create and post job openings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires

Employee Relations



Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related issues Foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement and retention Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions

HR Operations & Administration



Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters

Compliance & Labor Law



Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations Manage employee handbook updates and policy acknowledgments Oversee workplace safety, attendance, and labor standards compliance

Performance Management



Support managers with performance reviews, coaching, and employee development Assist with corrective action plans and performance improvement processes

Payroll & Benefits (if applicable)



Coordinate with payroll providers or internal teams to ensure accurate payroll processing Administer employee benefits programs and answer benefits-related questions
