Position Overview
The
HR Business Partner (HRBP)
will act as a strategic advisor to business leadership, ensuring alignment of HR initiatives with Synergy's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will bring experience in corporate HR management, cross-cultural communication, and exposure to international OEM environments. This role combines strategic HR planning, business partnering, talent management, and organizational development to drive performance, culture, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR & Business Alignment
Partner with leadership to define HR strategies supporting business goals, new ventures, and international collaborations.
Drive organization development initiatives that enhance productivity, capability, and engagement.
Develop HR frameworks for overseas partnerships and Indian subsidiaries (JV setups, local hiring, and compliance).
2. Talent Management & Capability Building
Design and execute manpower planning aligned with technical, commercial, and service teams.
Lead talent acquisition for key business units, ensuring recruitment of top professionals from corporate and engineering sectors.
Identify training and development needs; create skill enhancement programs in coordination with foreign OEMs.
3. HR Operations & Employee Relations
Manage full employee lifecycle -- onboarding, performance management, appraisal, and retention.
Maintain strong communication and engagement across locations (Pune, Mumbai, Dubai, Kolkata, project sites).
Develop HR dashboards, analytics, and reports to track key KPIs and organizational health.
4. International & Corporate Exposure
Coordinate with foreign OEMs and partners for delegation visits, HR interactions, and cultural alignment.
Support leadership in organizing business travel, exhibitions, and cross-border exchange programs.
Represent HR during meetings with global partners to demonstrate Synergy's organizational professionalism.
5. Policy, Compliance & Governance
Formulate HR policies and manuals aligned with Indian labour laws and international best practices.
Oversee compliance, payroll coordination, PF/ESI, gratuity, insurance, and employee benefits.
Support corporate governance, ethics, and internal control initiatives.
Desired Profile
Qualification:
MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute.
Experience:
8-15 years in HRBP / Corporate HR roles within engineering, EPC, or industrial sectors.
Exposure:
Experience working with multinational partners, OEMs, and corporate leadership teams.
