Job Description

Strategic Workforce Planning & Recruitment:

Collaborate with operations managers to forecast high-volume blue-collar staffing needs, develop recruitment plans, and ensure a steady talent pipeline. Work closely with the talent acquisition team to refine sourcing strategies, streamline the hiring process for frontline roles, and manage a quick onboarding cycle. Develop and implement retention strategies to minimize turnover among blue-collar employees, analyzing key metrics like absenteeism and hiring efficiency.

Employee Relations & Compliance:

Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and line managers within the assigned business units, resolving complex employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Ensure strict compliance with local and national labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies, focusing on the unique aspects of industrial or physical labor environments (e.g., working hours, break compliance, safety protocols). Liaise with trade unions or workers' committees if applicable, fostering productive labor relations.

Performance & Development:

Coach line managers on effective performance management, including providing feedback, identifying skill gaps, and developing career progression plans for frontline workers. Identify specific training needs (e.g., safety training, equipment operation certifications) and collaborate with L&D teams to deliver relevant programs.

Compensation & Benefits:

Advise on compensation structures, payroll accuracy, and benefits administration to ensure competitive wages and fair practices for the blue-collar workforce.

Culture & Change Management:

Champion a positive and safe workplace culture, driving employee engagement and well-being initiatives tailored to the operational environment. Support organizational change initiatives, such as process improvements or restructuring, by effectively communicating changes and managing morale.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
