Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Scheduling and buying of direct components from suppliers.
• Process Knowledge of : Sheet Metal ,Casting , Forging & Electrical Commodity
• Ensure daily supplies as per open schedules.
• Timely availability of material at plants to ensure no stoppage of production.
• Well conversant with QMS, TPM practices, SAP MRP
• Well conversant with Logistics and packaging practices.
• Knowledge of best Practices of SCM and lean management
• Knowledge of TPM & Product Costing .
• Knowledge of Vendor Development & Product Localisation
• Skill to Take care of 10 to 12 Suppliers : Part Count up to 1200 Nos.
• Skill to Manage 6 Plants Scheduling seating at Central Location.

General Experience
4-5 Years: BE
6-7 Years : DME
Critical Experience

• Supplier Relation Management,
• Managing the crisis and seasonal variations in demands & should be able manage pressures.
• Analysing the status at supplier end and Mktg priority in advance.
• Working closely with suppliers and FD plants to aligning timely availability, requires good interactions skills.
• Good in Analytical Ability
• Having Knowledge of Problem-Solving Techniques
• Good Communication Skill
• Knowledge of KANBAN System
• Good in Team building
• Supplier risk management capability.
