Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Scheduling and buying of direct components from suppliers. Process Knowledge of : Sheet Metal ,Casting , Forging & Electrical Commodity Ensure daily supplies as per open schedules. Timely availability of material at plants to ensure no stoppage of production. Well conversant with QMS, TPM practices, SAP MRP Well conversant with Logistics and packaging practices. Knowledge of best Practices of SCM and lean management Knowledge of TPM & Product Costing . Knowledge of Vendor Development & Product Localisation Skill to Take care of 10 to 12 Suppliers : Part Count up to 1200 Nos. Skill to Manage 6 Plants Scheduling seating at Central Location.

Critical Experience

Supplier Relation Management,

Managing the crisis and seasonal variations in demands & should be able manage pressures.

Analysing the status at supplier end and Mktg priority in advance. Working closely with suppliers and FD plants to aligning timely availability, requires good interactions skills. Good in Analytical Ability Having Knowledge of Problem-Solving Techniques

Good Communication Skill Knowledge of KANBAN System Good in Team building Supplier risk management capability.
