Education/Certifications:
A bachelor's degree in an HSE-related field is often required. Valued certifications include NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
Skills:
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential for identifying risks, communicating effectively with diverse teams, and enforcing safety protocols.
Physicality:
The role requires frequent travel to field sites and the ability to work in varied and potentially hazardous environments.
