Your responsibilities will include: Managing and leading a team for safety and compliance on site and reviewing all aspects of contract deliverables from the procurement stage to handover. A positive individual with a proactive attitude you will be expected to work collaboratively with all stakeholders and generate efficient, effective, and simple ways of working that can add value and create a safe environment for all. Conducting safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow-up assessments. Planning, implementing, and conducting preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs. Planning, implementing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive environmental safety & health programs at the project site location. Providing project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirming project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations. Collaborating with management to develop an emergency action plan and serving as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintaining a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence. Giving guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices. Preparing and conducting safety training sessions for employees and vendors. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, etc.) Doing research on environmental regulations and policies and instituting changes to ensure compliance. Tracking incident metrics and applying findings. Overseeing the applications for and receipt of necessary permits. Leading injury and incident inquiries and evaluations. About you You will have a degree qualification or diploma in safety and be a member of a professional body. You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have experience within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike.
