HRT - Pre-Primary Teacher

Pre-Primary Coordinator / Vice Principal / Principal
Job Summary:
The Pre-Primary Homeroom Teacher (HRT) is responsible for the overall care, development, and education of young learners. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based and structured learning.
Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons based on the pre-primary curriculum
Use play-based, activity-based, and experiential learning methods
Develop early literacy, numeracy, motor, and communication skills
Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent learning
Child Care & Development
Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional security of students
Support social skills, behavior development, and positive habits
Observe and identify individual learning needs and developmental progress
Classroom Management
Maintain a warm, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Establish routines and classroom rules suitable for young children
Manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement
Assessment & Reporting
Monitor and document student progress through observations and assessments
Prepare progress reports and portfolios
Communicate regularly with parents regarding child development and progress
Parent & School Coordination
Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events
Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and coordinators
Professional Responsibilities
Follow school policies and early childhood education standards
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops
Maintain accurate student records and documentation
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECCEd / Montessori / NTT or equivalent)
Teaching certification as required
Experience working with pre-primary or early years students
Strong understanding of child development

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,065.45 - ₹35,522.92 per month
