Role: Manager - US Compensation

Location: Noida (India)

Shift: US Shift

Function: HR Operations - Compensation Governance & Delivery

Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

Lead a team of compensation analysts/AMs managing daily US compensation transactions.*

Allocate workload, track performance, and ensure SLA adherence across compensation processes.

Drive coaching, upskilling, and quality improvement within the team.


2. Compensation Governance & Delivery

Oversee the accuracy of salary changes, promotions, market adjustments, job evaluations, and new hire compensation.

Ensure compliance with US compensation framework, job architecture, and

approval

workflows.

Act as the first point of escalation for complex compensation cases.


3. Audit, Controls & Compliance

Lead compensation audits, SOX documentation, and quality checks.

Strengthen internal controls and identify gaps in compensation processing.

Partner with Risk & Compliance teams to ensure 100% adherence to policy.


4. Strategic Reporting & Insights

Deliver executive-level compensation reports and dashboards.

Provide insights on pay trends, workforce costs, and compensation cycle outcomes.

Support budgeting and forecasting activities with HR/Finance teams.


5. Stakeholder & Client Engagement

Act as the primary compensation delivery lead for HRBP, COE, and payroll partners.

Manage escalations, change requests, and governance meetings with US stakeholders.

Collaborate on

process-improvement

initiatives and automation opportunities.


Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate/Post-graduate in HR, Finance, Business, or related field.

Good

number of years of experience in compensation operations, HR COE, or US payroll.

Strong experience in compensation frameworks, salary structures, and US HR compliance.


Preferred Qualifications / Skills

Hands-on experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar HRIS platforms.

Strong analytical capability--advanced Excel, data modeling, compensation analytics.

Experience managing teams or leading projects in a global HR environment.

Strong communication, client management, and decision-making skills.
