1. Motivate and mobilize poor and marginalized community members (mostly women) to form new SHGs.
2. Ensure the group adheres to the basic principles of regular meetings, regular savings, internal lending, prompt repayment, and proper bookkeeping.
3. Conduct training sessions for SHG members and office bearers (animators and representatives) on group management, leadership, communication, and accounting procedures.
4. Import skill development and entrepreneurship training to help members identify and start income-generating activities.
5. Raise awareness about social issues like hygiene, sanitation, health, and women's rights
6. Assisting SHG members in identifying potential income-generating activities, providing skill training, promoting entrepreneurship, facilitating market linkages for products, and offering hand-holding support to new entrepreneurs.
7. Regularly monitoring group performance, evaluating the impact of training programs, ensuring timely audits of accounts, and submitting periodical reports to the Coordinator and Director.
8. Regularly visit SHG meetings to monitor progress, review performance, and provide trouble-shooting support when required.
9. Identifying training and development needs of SHG members for skill enhancement and enterprise development.
10. Designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs to build functional capacities, leadership qualities, business skills, and technical knowledge for specific trades.
11. Focusing on improving members' performance in economic activities, leading to higher productivity and income levels.
12. Motivating members for collective action and self-reliance, which contributes to their personal growth and social empowerment.
