The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic enabler and trusted advisor to business leaders across Avaada Energy. The role is responsible for driving the full spectrum of People & Culture initiatives covering talent management, performance management, capability building, employee experience, policy adherence, HR analytics, and workforce planning. The HRBP will work closely with business teams to ensure alignment of people practices with organizational goals under the "One Avaada" philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business units and liaise with functional leadership.
Understand business priorities, workforce requirements, and capability gaps; recommend HR interventions proactively.
Partner with managers on organization design, role clarity, manpower planning, and productivity enhancement.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with HR CoEs (TA, L&D, C&B, PMS, HR Operations).
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely fulfillment of approved positions.
Support in JD finalization, interview evaluation, and selection decisions.
Ensure smooth onboarding, induction, and assimilation of new hires into the Avaada culture.
Track probation evaluations and ensure timely confirmation.
3. Performance Management (Darwinbox-Based)
Drive the quarterly and annual PMS cycle in alignment with Avaada's July-June performance year.
Train managers and employees on goal-setting, competency mapping, and rating calibrations.
Facilitate performance reviews, feedback conversations, and development action planning.
Ensure PMS data accuracy, timely closure, and documentation on Darwinbox.
4. Employee Experience & Engagement
Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, motivation, and productivity.
Conduct skip-level meetings, pulse checks, and feedback sessions across employee groups.
Manage grievance handling, conflict resolution, and employee concerns in a timely and fair manner.
Support DEI, culture-building activities, and organization-wide engagement programs.
5. Capability Building & Learning Initiatives
Identify skill and competency gaps basis business needs, PMS outcomes, and leadership inputs.
Partner with the L&D team to design and execute relevant training plans.
Track learning participation, effectiveness, and development follow-ups.
6. HR Operations, Analytics & Compliance
Ensure end-to-end HR lifecycle support -- from onboarding to exit -- in collaboration with HR Operations.
Maintain and analyze employee data, dashboards, attrition trends, and HR metrics for decision-making.
Support salary revision exercises, promotions, job leveling, and manpower budgeting.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, statutory requirements, and internal audit expectations.
7. Employee Relations & Policy Implementation
Ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of HR policies across business teams.
Counsel employees and managers on policy matters, performance concerns, and behavioral issues.
Support disciplinary processes and maintain documentation as required.
8. Exit Management
Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition patterns, and recommend retention measures.
Coordinate with HR Ops to ensure smooth offboarding and timely full & final settlements.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
MBA/MSW/PGDM in Human Resources (preferred).
Experience:
3-7 years as HRBP or Generalist HR, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or fast-paced growth organizations.
Strong understanding of HR processes, PMS, talent management, employee engagement, and basic labor laws.
Hands-on experience with
Darwinbox
or other HRMS platforms is an advantage.
