Job Description

Role Objective:



The HRBP will act as the strategic partner to business leaders and operations teams in a fast-paced hyperlocal quick commerce environment. The role focuses on driving people strategy, workforce effectiveness, and employee engagement across store, warehouse, and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Partnership:

Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategy with quick commerce business goals. Provide insights on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, attendance, performance management, and exit processes. Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to frontline and operations staff.

Talent Acquisition & Development:

Partner with recruitment teams to ensure timely hiring for critical roles (delivery, warehouse, store managers). Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance workforce productivity.

Employee Relations & Compliance:

Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and resolve conflicts effectively. Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Operational Support:

Conduct site visits to warehouses, dark stores, and delivery hubs to understand ground-level challenges. Support managers in handling absenteeism, attrition, and workforce discipline.

Data & Analytics:

Use HR metrics (attrition, attendance, productivity) to provide actionable insights. Present reports to leadership on workforce trends and recommend interventions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse workforce. Analytical mindset with ability to interpret HR data and drive decisions. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements in quick commerce/retail.

Qualifications & Experience



Graduation 3-8 years of HRBP/HR Generalist experience, preferably in quick commerce, e-commerce, retail, or logistics. Experience managing large frontline workforce (delivery executives, warehouse staff).
