Job Description

Talent Aquatism Specialist (3-5 yrs) is responsible for identifying, recruiting, developing, and retaining aquatics-related talent.

Source, screen, and recruit qualified aquatics professionals (lifeguards, swim instructors, coaches, aquatic therapists, etc.) Conduct interviews, skill assessments, and certifications verification Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future aquatics needs

Training & Development

Coordinate onboarding, training, and certification programs (e.g., lifeguarding, CPR, first aid, swim instruction) Identify skill gaps and recommend professional development plans Support ongoing performance improvement and career progression for aquatic staff

Performance & Talent Management

Monitor staff performance and provide feedback in collaboration with aquatics leadership Assist with performance evaluations and retention strategies Promote a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous learning Collaborate with aquatics managers to align staffing with program needs Serve as a subject-matter expert on aquatics talent best practices Represent the organization at aquatics events, job fairs, and industry conferences
