Legal, Compliance, Government Relations, and Statutory Management
to lead and manage end-to-end HR and compliance functions at our manufacturing unit in Gummidipoondi. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of labour laws, contractor management, workers' welfare, EHS compliance, and statutory obligations, along with excellent coordination skills with government departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all HR, legal, and compliance activities at the plant.
Manage
labour contractors, workers' wages, and payroll compliance
.
Ensure timely compliance with
all statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Factory Act, Labour Act, etc.)
.
Handle
EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance
and audits.
Maintain effective
liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies
.
Implement policies to ensure smooth employee relations and dispute resolution.
Drive workforce discipline, grievance handling, and welfare measures.
Ensure proper documentation, audits, and reporting to management.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, Law, or related field.
Minimum
15 years of relevant experience
in HR, Compliance, and Government Relations.
Strong understanding of
labour laws, statutory compliances, and EHS regulations
.
Experience in handling large workforce (contract and permanent).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with government officials, contractors, and workers.

Gummidipoondi (Chennai)
location.
