Role Overview
The HR Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the firm's people strategy by managing core HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance. This role requires strong understanding of consulting environments, project-based staffing models, and the logistics/supply chain domain.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Manage end-to-end recruitment for consulting, analytics, logistics, and support roles
Coordinate with practice leads to understand project-based staffing needs
Source, screen, and interview candidates using competency-based methods
Support onboarding and induction for new hires
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and documentation
Manage probation, confirmations, transfers, and exits
Administer employee contracts, amendments, and policy acknowledgements
Support payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management
Performance Management & Development
Coordinate performance appraisal cycles for consultants and support staff
Support learning and development initiatives, certifications, and training programs
Track skills, competencies, and utilization metrics relevant to consulting projects
Employee Engagement & Culture
Act as a point of contact for employee queries and HR-related concerns
Support engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and internal communications
Promote company values, ethical practices, and a high-performance culture
Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies
Support audits, statutory reporting, and documentation
Assist in updating HR policies aligned with business growth and consulting best practices
HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare HR dashboards and reports (headcount, attrition, hiring metrics, utilization)
Support leadership with people insights relevant to 4PL consulting operations
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3-6 years of HR experience, preferably in consulting, logistics, supply chain, or professional services
Strong understanding of recruitment for niche and technical roles
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven consulting environment
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Proficiency in HRIS, MS Excel, and HR reporting tools
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's in HR
Experience in 3PL/4PL, supply chain, or logistics organizations
Exposure to global or multi-country HR operations
