Position Summary:
The HR Shared Services (HRSS) Analyst - Benefits is responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent, and timely HR support with a specialized focus on benefits administration. This role supports employees, managers, and HR colleagues by managing benefits-related inquiries, executing transactional tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The analyst will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience through effective benefits support globally.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Contact: Acts as the main point of contact for employee benefits inquiries (health insurance, retirement plans, leave of absence, wellness programs) via the Hurons support center (ServiceNow).
Case Management: Reviews, interprets, manages, and resolves benefits-related tickets within defined SLAs.
Collaboration: Works with benefits vendors and internal stakeholders for accurate and timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Resource Utilization: Uses knowledge articles and quick guides to address inquiries.
Employee Education: Educates employees on benefits offerings and self-service tools.
Annual Enrollment: Supports annual benefits enrollment, including communications, system testing, and issue resolution.
Compliance: Assists with audits and compliance reporting.
Escalation: Escalates complex issues to HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) or external vendors.
Knowledge Maintenance: Keeps up-to-date with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements on iNet, Workday, and ServiceNow.
Process Improvement: Contributes to process improvement initiatives and documentation updates.
Training & Meetings: Participates in training, benefits events, and team meetings.
Additional Tasks: Performs other HR support tasks as assigned.
QualificationsEducation: MBA in Human Resources (fresher) or Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience in HR Shared Services or Benefits Administration.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow.
