In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. These programs are funded by USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, David & Lucile Packard Foundation, Children\xe2\x80\x99s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), MSD for Mothers and other anonymous donors.

Jhpiego is hiring for the position of HR \xe2\x80\x93 Senior Assistant based in New Delhi. The position will report to HR Officer and responsible for managing end-to-end recruitments for the organization. Responsibilities:

  • Recruitments \xe2\x80\x93
    • Work closely with the recruitment leads and coordinate Manpower Requisition.
    • Support team in finalizing s
    • Post positions on relevant job portals
    • Host and sift applications based on qualification and experience.
    • Create applicant database. Create records of applications.
    • Coordinate preliminary interviews, written test and related documentation.
    • Make necessary arrangement to manage interviews by including coordination with interview panelists; managing schedules; making necessary travel arrangements and reimbursement.
    • Send regret mail to disqualified candidate.
  • Pre-hiring Tasks \xe2\x80\x93
    • Support in the process documentation of selected candidates
    • Coordinate hiring process.
    • Coordinate initial settling arrangements and information to concerned departments.


  • On-boarding \xe2\x80\x93
    • Coordinate joining process including joining documentation, welcome note, introduction, sharing joining documents with new hire and concerned departments.
    • Manage employee data base.
  • Pre-Audit End to end Support
  • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Abilities/Skills:
  • Orientation to details and accuracy
  • Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks under strict timelines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Punctuality
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a multicultural work environment.



Qualifications
& Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or related field with at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 of experience in HR in relevant areas
  • Familiarity with the development sector will be preferred.
