Assess manpower requirements for factory, site, and office operations
Coordinate hiring of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers
Manage onboarding, appointment letters, and employee documentation
2. Attendance, Payroll & Wages
Maintain daily attendance, OT, night shift, and leave records
Coordinate with accounts for salary processing and wage disbursement
Ensure timely payment of PF, ESI, and statutory deductions
3. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, etc.)
Maintain statutory registers and records
Coordinate with labor inspectors and auditors when required
4. Employee Relations & Discipline
Handle employee grievances and resolve workplace issues
Monitor discipline, absenteeism, and productivity
Implement company policies and code of conduct
5. Training & Skill Development
Identify training needs for production and site staff
Arrange safety training, skill upgrades, and induction programs
Monitor performance improvement after training
6. Health, Safety & Welfare
Ensure safety norms inside factory and at installation sites
Monitor use of PPE and safety practices
Manage welfare activities (canteen, medical support, leave benefits)
7. Performance Monitoring
Assist management in performance evaluation
Maintain records of appraisals, increments, and promotions
Support productivity improvement initiatives
8. Exit Management
Handle resignations, final settlements, and exit interviews
Ensure return of company assets and clearance process
9. HR Reporting & Documentation
Prepare HR MIS reports (manpower strength, attrition, attendance)
Maintain employee files and records
Support management with HR-related data and analysis
