Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist - Wire & Cable Industry
Overview
Seeking an experienced
Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
to manage full-life-cycle recruitment for a wire and cable manufacturing company. This role will focus on sourcing technical, industrial, and operational talent relevant to wire, cable, and related manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the
entire hiring process
: from job intake with hiring managers to sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.
Develop and execute targeted
recruitment strategies
to attract skilled technical professionals in the wire and cable sector--e.g., engineering (wire extrusion, cable design), operations, quality, supply chain roles.
Build, manage, and maintain a pipeline of
active and passive candidates
, particularly for niche technical roles (e.g. cable engineers, procurement, category management).
Partner closely with department leads--engineering, operations, quality assurance, procurement--to refine role profiles and selection criteria.
Post and optimize job ads on various channels (job boards, LinkedIn, local industry forums, social media), and manage relationships with external agencies when needed.
Screen candidates, conduct interviews (behavioral & technical), evaluate fit, gather feedback, and negotiate offers.
Monitor and analyze
recruitment metrics
--time?to?fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion--and generate reports to drive continuous improvement.
Act as an
employer branding ambassador
: represent the company at job fairs and industry events relevant to wire?and?cable manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, data privacy/GDPR (where applicable), and internal HR policies.
Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and candidate experience best practices.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree
in HR, Business, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years
of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with exposure to manufacturing or technical roles.
Prior experience recruiting in
manufacturing, industrial engineering, wire/cable, or electronics
sectors is highly valuable.
Strong knowledge of
Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, boolean search).
Excellent
communication, interviewing, and negotiation skills
.
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?65,000.00 per month
