This individual will work closely with hiring managers to understand the technical requirements for each role, identify suitable candidates, and guide them through the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Candidates:
Source, screen, and identify potential candidates for various IT roles using job boards, social media platforms, and industry contacts.
Candidate Screening & Interviews:
Conduct initial phone and video interviews to assess technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit. Coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers or senior technical staff.
Job Postings & Advertising:
Write and post compelling job descriptions for IT roles on various job boards, social media platforms, and internal job portals.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand the specific needs of IT roles and ensure alignment throughout the hiring process.
Candidate Experience:
Provide candidates with timely feedback and a positive experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Offer Negotiation & Closing:
Present and negotiate job offers with selected candidates, ensuring alignment with company policies and compensation structures.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends and IT hiring best practices to ensure the company attracts top talent in a competitive market.
Onboarding Coordination:
Assist with the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, handling documentation, and coordinating the new hire's first day experience.
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain an up-to-date database of candidates, track recruitment metrics, and generate reports on hiring progress, source effectiveness, and candidate pipelines.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience (1 year ) as an HR Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist, with a focus on IT and technical roles.
Experience with recruiting IT professionals, such as software developers, engineers, data scientists, systems analysts, etc.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.), and Boolean search techniques.
Understanding of the IT industry and technical job roles, with the ability to effectively communicate with hiring managers and candidates about technical requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Ability to assess technical candidates accurately and work with hiring managers to identify top talent.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
