The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle -- from identifying hiring needs and sourcing qualified candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding. The role requires a proactive individual who can attract top talent, maintain strong candidate pipelines, and ensure a positive hiring experience aligned with the company's culture and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand hiring requirements for various departments and collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles.
Source potential candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and internal databases.
Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic or video interviews to evaluate candidates' fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and follow up on feedback.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process -- job posting, shortlisting, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
Maintain candidate records and recruitment dashboards using the company's ATS or HRMS.
Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for recurring and future roles.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and internal hiring policies.
Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
Handle campus hiring, walk-in drives, and job fairs when required.
Prepare recruitment reports and provide regular updates to management.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent sourcing and headhunting skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, etc.).
Ability to handle multiple requirements simultaneously.
Good negotiation and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with HRMS/ATS tools and Excel reporting.
Time management and organizational skills.
Understanding of current hiring trends and market insights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
1-5 years of experience in recruitment (corporate or consultancy environment).
Preferred Experience:
Experience recruiting for roles in [specific industries, e.g., Finance, IT, Manufacturing, FMCG, etc.].
Exposure to both technical and non-technical hiring.
Experience in mass/bulk hiring and lateral recruitment.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
