Process management:
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, which includes writing job descriptions, posting job ads, screening applications, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
Candidate assessment:
Conduct interviews (phone, video, or in-person) to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Hiring and onboarding:
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiate salary and benefits, conduct background checks, and assist with the onboarding of new hires.
Collaboration:
Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment process.
Record keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities, often using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Employer branding:
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring candidates have a positive experience and building the company's reputation as a desirable place to work.
Required skills and qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is often required.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
Proficiency with recruitment software, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), is usually necessary.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are needed to manage a heavy workload and multiple roles.
