The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment life cycle--from identifying hiring needs and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and onboarding. The role plays a vital part in building a strong workforce and maintaining an efficient hiring process aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Sourcing:
Understand job requirements and collaborate with department heads to define hiring needs.
Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
Post job advertisements on relevant platforms.
Candidate Screening & Interviews:
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates.
Conduct telephonic or video interviews to assess suitability.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Hiring Process Management:
Manage end-to-end recruitment workflow and documentation.
Assist in offer preparation, negotiation, and finalization.
Ensure timely onboarding of selected candidates.
Database & Reporting:
Maintain an organized database of candidates and track hiring metrics.
Prepare recruitment status reports for HR and management.
Employer Branding:
Support employer branding initiatives through social media and career events.
Represent the company in job fairs, campus drives, and networking events.
Compliance:
Ensure recruitment processes comply with labor laws and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Min 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
Familiarity with job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., ATS, HRIS).
